Saint Anselm women's ice hockey head coach David Flint and the U.S. Women's National Team recently captured the gold medal at the 2008 International Ice Hockey Federation World Women's Championship in Harbin, China, with a 4-3 win over Canada in the championship game. Flint is serving as the goaltending coach for Team USA and the entire U.S. Women's Hockey National program.

Johnson, Lebel Earn All-American Honors

The championship marks the third time in four years and the second consecutive time the Hawks have won the title. The game marks the end of the season for both teams, as the Hawks finish the season 23-2-1 and Sacred Heart finishes the season 7-17-1.
